Coctails with alcohol
Mulled wine Christmas
1 bottle red wine (75cl.)
80 gr brown sugar
4 cardamom pods
6 cloves
2 star anise
2 sticks of cinnamon
a pinch of grated nutmeg.
1 lemon
1 orange
Making Christmas mulled wine is simple. In a pot add the spices, lemon and orange and brown sugar over a low heat. Let the spices and sugar caramelise .To prevent sticking, add a splash of wine (just enough to cover the sugar). When the sugar is dissolved, add the remaining wine and place over low heat for half an hour. It is important that the wine does not boil, remove from heat and let stand. To keep it, strain and store in a bottle. Serve with crackers or Christmas treats.
